On going Upgrade
We are currently undergoing a major upgrade across all our chalets and hotel rooms which will be completed in two phases through the upcoming season. The first phase will be the installation of NBN, and the second phase will be the installation of Foxtel IQ and smart TV’s which will offer a much larger variety of entertainment options with much improved Wi-Fi speeds. During this time, a technician may need access to your property to complete the installation. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you and greatly appreciate your cooperation.
About
Welcome to Mt Hotham’s great outdoors. In winter it is a white capped playground for skiers. When the sun comes out though, you can enjoy some tennis, basketball, hire a bike or play some frisbee golf.
It is only a 15-minute drive from Club Wyndham Dinner Plain to Mt Hotham’s award-winning ski resort. Perhaps you might like to get up close and personal with some local huskies for a sled ride across the mountain. In Summer, the area has some incredible alpine hiking and mountain bike tracks making this a year-round destination.

Check-in Time: 4pm
Check-out Time: 12pm
Reception Hours: The main building including reception and bar is open from 7am to 7pm Tuesday to Wednesday, and 7am to 9pm Thursday to Monday.
Car Parking: Guaranteed 1 car space per lodge (some lodges can accommodate 2 vehicles). Overflow car parking and oversized vehicles (caravans, trailers etc) located @ Beginners Slope, a 5-minute walk from reception. No height restrictions as all parking is open air.
Elevators: No Elevators at Resort – if ground floor apartment is required in the lodge, a ground floor must be booked.
Travel to Dinner Plain: If you have not driven to Dinner Plain before it is strongly recommended to travel during daylight hours and review the Alpine forecast before departing. During weather events the Alpine Road can be closed for long periods of time during the day so travel prepared with warm clothing, food and water for the trip. We recommend travelling to the resort via Omeo as it is the smoother and safer drive, especially during the winter months.

Resort Entry: During the declared snow season, all visitors to Mt Hotham must pay a resort entry fee, which covers essential winter services provided to guests, including the Mt Hotham Ski Patrol, village snow clearing, free village transport, traffic and car parking services, cross country trail grooming, waste management and environmental management.
If you travel directly through the resort from Dinner Plain / Omeo to Harrietville or Harrietville to Dinner Plain / Omeo and do not stop, you will not require a resort entry permit. Your resort exit point must differ from your resort entry point. If using the facilities at Mt Hotham we recommend purchasing your tickets 7 days in advance as this will be the most cost effective option. https://www.mthotham.com.au/discover/explore/getting-here/resort-entry
